Planning a wedding comes with a lot of thoughts… some exciting, some emotional, and some you probably wouldn’t say out loud.

So we asked our community to be honest - what’s a thought about your wedding you’d never actually say out loud?

The answers?

Slightly unhinged, very relatable… and honestly, kind of comforting.

If you’re planning your wedding right now, just know - you’re definitely not the only one thinking these things.

We said what we said…

It’s not really about being better - it’s about creating something that feels memorable, personal, and very you. And yes… maybe just a little bit iconic.

The guest list is where things get real… very quickly. Balancing who you want there with who you feel like you have to invite isn’t always easy. A little gut instinct check can help here - if it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t 🤍

Weddings have a way of doing that. Those “just one more thing” moments add up very quickly.

You don’t have to do everything - choosing what matters most to you is more than enough. But also… maybe tell your fiancé haha 😅

YES! When it’s done right, it can completely transform the whole day.

Honestly… no.

The day flies by, but your photos are what you come back to. Wanting them to feel special makes complete sense.

Wow this is such a good point… loose money is just not the vibe.

Decision fatigue is real. There are so many little choices involved so it’s completely normal to hit a point where you’re just… done.

Allow yourself to take little breaks from planning throughout the journey. You don’t have to have everything figured out all at once.

We’ll just… leave this one here 😂

Once things are locked in, it can feel hard to take a step back.

But even small shifts can help bring things back to what matters most.

Everyone has an opinion… whether you asked for it or not. Take what feels helpful and leave the rest - you don’t have to take everything on board.

Honestly… tempting.

After all the build-up, planning, and anticipation - it’s normal to feel a bit of a shift once it’s done. Give yourself a little time to come down from it all. It doesn’t mean anything’s wrong, it just means it mattered 🤍

If there’s one thing we took away from all of this, it’s that wedding planning isn’t just exciting — it’s layered, emotional, and sometimes a little chaotic.

But most of all… it’s shared.

So if you’ve had any of these thoughts (or ones just like them), you’re in very good company.
