Our Journey

We’ve been so lucky to have spent the past decade completely immersed in beautiful weddings. We are passionate wedding photographers, and have shot stunning weddings throughout Australia and across the globe (including in Italy + the Greek Islands).

Something that became glaringly obvious to us, was that there was not one central shopping platform to complete a wedding day with all of the pretty, and essential items. We would constantly be digging into our own supplies to help couples create the best day possible, from clear umbrellas, to emergency kits for those unexpected mishaps, to confetti and sparklers.

Over a few cocktails in Santorini, after shooting an epic all-day wedding on the Caldera, we knew that it was our mission to create a beautiful space for couples to be able to complete their wedding day purchases. It was at that moment that the idea of The Whole Bride was born.

What followed was months of research, planning and manufacturing to create the best and most useful products we could ever dream of. Our vision for a beautiful and convenient platform had to also carry our own social responsibilities, with one of our main environmental focuses being to reduce waste in the wedding industry. We steer our products and packaging towards more eco-conscious options.

Weddings are a once in a lifetime event, and with that comes single-use products and waste. One of our main aims here at The Whole Bride is to reduce and eliminate single-use items. Great thought and care goes into the design of each product, to ensure it has longevity beyond your wedding day.

We also offer a range earth-friendly products, and all of our packaging is biodegradable, recyclable and compostable.

We are constantly working towards reducing waste where we can, and creating more biodegradable options in our products and the materials that they are wrapped in.
