Monique and Caleb’s wedding at Osteria Weddings was basically a masterclass in how to throw a whimsical garden party you’ll never forget. Think relaxed garden ceremony, confetti flying through the air, a cake moment that was almost too pretty to cut, and a first dance under the stars surrounded by their favourite people.
Osteria Weddings, tucked away in Casuarina on the Tweed Coast, is already a dream with its lush gardens, festoon lights and laid-back coastal vibe – but Monique and Caleb made it their own with personal touches and a whole lot of joy.
Their garden ceremony was the perfect mix of relaxed and romantic. Their wedding bands were tucked inside our Luxe Velvet Ring Box in Midnight – the rich black velvet tied in perfectly with their monochrome colour scheme, while the double slot kept both rings safe and ready for the big moment.
For their vows, they went with our Linen Vow Cards tied with Silk Ribbon in Black – the perfect blend of simple, elegant, and totally keepsake-worthy.
As soon as they said I do, guests set off our Confetti Cannons for that iconic just married moment you dream of. The soft white confetti was perfect for their garden ceremony surrounded by greenery, creating the most beautiful contrast in photos. Each cannon is filled with our best-selling biodegradable confetti – super lightweight so it floats in the air and gives you those magic, frame-worthy moments. They used a bunch of cannons for the ceremony and a few more for a fun group photo later on, because honestly… confetti makes everything better.
Monique and Caleb cut their cake with our Bubble Cake Knife & Server Set – modern, chic, and the perfect finishing touch for those gorgeous cake-cutting photos. It’s the kind of set you’ll want to keep forever and bring out for anniversaries, birthdays, or honestly any excuse to eat cake in style.
But the real magic moment? Their first dance. Under the stars in the garden, with festoon lights glowing overhead, guests formed a circle and lit our 70cm Extra Long Sparklers. With a generous burn time of around 2.5 minutes, these sparklers are perfect for a first dance moment – giving plenty of time to capture every twirl, laugh, and smile. Surrounded by a warm golden glow, Monique and Caleb soaked up every second, and everyone watching felt a little bit like they were in a movie.
From start to finish, it was a day full of big laughs, thoughtful details, and those “how lucky are we?” kind of moments. Proof that with the right mix of location, people, and a few perfectly chosen wedding essentials, you can create something truly unforgettable.
