Set against the lush green landscape of the Tweed Hinterland, Sam and Connor’s Summergrove Estate wedding was a beautifully modern take on romance. A refined palette, soft florals and thoughtfully considered details came together against the estate’s sweeping surrounds, with an unexpected afternoon shower creating some of the most memorable imagery of the day.

For Sam and Connor, the celebration was also the culmination of a story that began when they were just 17. Having grown up side by side, through travel, shared adventures and all the milestones that come with building a life together, their wedding felt less like the beginning of something new and more like a beautiful continuation of everything they had already created.

Summergrove Estate was an easy choice once the couple experienced it together. A private tour was enough to win them both over, with the secluded Tweed Hinterland setting offering the sense of occasion they wanted while still feeling intimate and relaxed.
The celebrations began the evening before, with Sam gifting her bridesmaids The Whole Bride Magnetic Gift Boxes to open together. Beautifully presented and filled with pieces chosen especially for each of her girls, the boxes turned bridal party gifting into a considered part of the wedding experience. A quiet moment together before the pace of the following morning, and a lovely way to mark the beginning of the celebrations.

For the ceremony, Sam chose a bridal look that perfectly reflected the wider aesthetic of the day: romantic, refined and modern. Soft florals and a timeless palette allowed the natural beauty of Summergrove Estate to do much of the talking, with each wedding detail feeling intentional without ever appearing over-styled.
And then came the confetti exit of dreams.
As Sam and Connor made their way back down the aisle as newlyweds, guests showered them with a mix of The Whole Bride White Heart Confetti Cannons and White Circle Confetti from The Ultimate Confetti Bundle. The combination of shapes created layers of crisp white confetti against the green hinterland backdrop, filling the air around the couple and turning an already joyful just-married moment into something spectacular. The result was exactly what a wedding confetti exit should be: celebratory, a little chaotic and ridiculously good in photos.

Then came the rain.
Rather than retreat indoors, Sam and Connor stepped outside beneath one of The Whole Bride White Wedding Umbrellas. What could have been an interruption became one of the most striking visual moments of the day, complete with a bottle pop beneath the umbrella.
Against Sam’s white gown and the saturated green landscape, the umbrella became an unexpectedly beautiful bridal accessory. Simple, classic and practical, it complemented the understated wedding styling while allowing the landscape and fashion to remain the focus. It’s a reminder that even the most practical wedding-day details can become part of the visual story.

As daylight faded, the celebration shifted into evening, with the elegant ceremony giving way to dinner, music and a packed dance floor. After years of shared milestones, having family and friends from so many different chapters of their lives together in one place was the part Sam and Connor knew they would remember most.
And for the final moment of the night, they went big. Guests lined up with 72 of The Whole Bride 55cm Extra Long Sparklers, creating a glittering wedding sparkler arch for Sam and Connor to make their exit beneath. With each sparkler burning for more than two minutes, there was time for the entire arch to come to life before the newlyweds made their way through, surrounded by their favourite people beneath a canopy of light. A little bit magical, a lot of fun, and a pretty spectacular way to end the night.
From bridesmaid gifts opened the evening before to a confetti-filled ceremony exit, rain-soaked portraits and a sparkling finale after dark, Sam and Connor’s Summergrove Estate real wedding is filled with Australian wedding inspiration worth saving. Polished without feeling overdone, romantic without being overly traditional, and punctuated by a few perfectly unscripted moments, it was entirely their own.
