Frequently Asked Questions.
How much confetti do I need to purchase?
We have bags available relevant to the number of guests at your wedding.
For example, if you have around 25 guests we would recommend the small bag. You can see our recommendations on the product listing.
We also recommend buying a little extra to use on your location photos, during the reception entrance, or during your cake cutting.
Why should I choose biodegradable confetti?
The main reason is for environmental reasons. We believe that it is our mission collectively to reduce waste in weddings, and choosing biodegradable confetti is a perfect starting point.
Another reason would be for clean up. Given that the product is biodegradable, you can wash the product away with water, or let nature do its thing over time.
Lastly, some venues and public spaces (like beaches and parks) only allow biodegrable products to be used.
What are the ingredients of the biodegradable confetti?
Our white confetti contains no dye or colourings, and it is a completely natural product. Our coloured confetti is coloured using food-grade dyes, so it is non-toxic.
If the confetti is accidentally ingested during the confetti toss, the product is not poisonous.
What is the best way to clean up the biodegradable confetti?
Once you have completed your confetti toss, there are a few ways you can approach the clean up. Ideally, you can allow nature to do it's thing. The wind and rain will wash it away. Otherwise you can vacuum or rake the product up to ensure the space is left clean and tidy.
If you use a large volume of the confetti, it may require more time to breakdown. We would recommend speaking with your venue before using our product, or providing them with a sample bag for testing.
I have a very strict venue who only allows biodegradable confetti, is your confetti suitable?
What is the best way to use your biodegradable confetti?
On the day ask your celebrant or officiant to announce the confetti toss with the following instructions;
1. Take a confetti cone and line the the aisle.
2. As the couple walk back down the aisle, empty the confetti into your hand and toss it into the air as high as you possibly can.
3. Don't throw the confetti at the couple, or from your cone.
4. Cheer and have fun!
